Fashion in the Sims
If you're like me, you're a person that loves to create your own character in video games. That was the main reason i started playing the sims. That and being able to decorate my own house. The sims 4 comes with a lot of options when it comes to creating a sim, but it's not enough for people od color. The sims basegame only came with 10 daarker skinned tone options and 41 afro textured options. While people wanting to choose straight hairstyles, they have a whopping 117 hairstyles, and 53 wavy hairstyles. People of color are very underrepresented in this aspect. Now i know this section is about Create a Sim as a whole,
but the hair options are very important when you are creating a sim as well. We will go into more details on the Hair section.
As I mentioned I mentioned earlier, the Sims 4 Base game came with only 10 darker skinned tone options. While that is a decent amount, the skin tones that we were given, however, were not up to par. Most of the darker skin tones looked ashy and gray. The didn't have any undertones to them. So we had to outsource skin overlays for more well represented options.
Last but certainly not least, we have the fashion in the sims 4 game. The base game does a pretty good job of representing different cultures but a lot of the clothes just lacked a certain element. There werent any fashionable pieces. The clothing items just looked bland for the most part.
So I am very thankful for the content creators that are making more realistic streetware, Haute Couture, and cute but comfy clothing otpions.

SimLocker is a great content creator to shop form if you are looking for some sneakers for your sims. They create shoes from brands like Nike, Jordan, Puma, and Vans. SimLocker also makes clothing items for men and women.
